The Gambia – Swansea Vision 2020 Eye Link

Blustery winds and overcast condition did not deter the 19 teams who competed for The Gambia Swansea Vision 2020 Eye Link Golf Tournament at Pennard Golf Club.

Pennard with its links course and fantastic views over Oxwich Bay and the Bristol Channel proved a very testing but enjoyable challenge. Teams visited from as far as the midlands.

The format was teams of four, playing Stableford, with the best two scores to count on each hole. In addition the were also nearest the hole prizes on the 11th and 15th holes. It proved a very close competition with Peter Lynn and his team winning on count back from the Pennard Golf professional Mike Bennett and his team.
